EROS STUDY: HOLE COMING SOON (SEPT, 2025)

Perverted Wedding (2023)

For my 28th birthday, I staged a wedding to marry all my friends. Perverted Wedding was a communal ritual of queer devotion, absurd pageantry, and collective eros. Blurring the lines between celebration, performance, and protest, the event reimagined marriage as an expansive, non-monogamous act of love and kinship.

As the conceptual lead and curator, I designed the experience as both spectacle and ceremony—complete with 100 guests, 50 lbs of rice, three ecstatic DJs, and one decadent cake. The night unfolded in waves of dance, tenderness, and subversion at Hex House, with live performances by Melanie Hoff and music by Ziggy, Uncle Gentleman, and Silky Black.

Perverted Wedding is part of my ongoing practice in re-ritualizing intimacy, queering the formalities of love, and creating spaces where eros, community, and performance coalesce.
